ACHIEVEMENTS
Considering the birth of the Phoenix Scorpions in 1998, this Club has developed and generated immense interest in the sport of Field Hockey in the Southwest. The Club's focus on youth development has contributed to several of our youth to be selected for the US Junior or Senior National squads.
2004 - Manraj Singh Khosla gets selected in the junior National squad.
2007 - Alex Von Bieberstein enters the junior National squad - represents US National Team in Malaysia in 2008.
2008 - Jivraj Singh Hundal and Sanbir Singh Kaler get selected for the US junior National squad.
2009 - Tanvir Singh Khosla selected for the US junior National squad. Jivraj and Tanvir represent the junior US team at Moorpark, CA against British Columbia, Canada.
The Club has been blessed with very strong and dedicated local community membership. Every year, the Cactus Classic Tournament is hosted in the beautiful month of sunny January. Meals for every team are sponsored by the community from breakfast to dinner. The community prides itself in the "hospitality" aspect every year!
