Phoenix Cactus Classic Field Hockey Tournament

Presenting the 6th Annual Phoenix Cactus Classic Field Hockey Tournament, to be held Saturday, January 30th through Sunday, January 31st, 2010.

New water based Artificial Turf provided by the City of Phoenix - same venue as the USFHA Festival in 2010 !!!
All adult division games will be played on Artificial Turf.  Superb quality grass fields will be allocated for all other divisions with artificial turf where possible. Games begin at 7:00 am each day and will be done by 4:00 pm Sunday. National field hockey rules will apply.

All teams will be guaranteed to play at least 4 games of 40-minutes each over the two days. Teams will be registered on a first come first serve basis.  The tournament will be a round robin or divisional format, depending on the number of registered teams. Men’s Division winners will also receive the Dr. Saini Memorial Floating Trophy. Top teams from all divisions will be presented with an award for each player.

UMPIRES:
Each team must provide at least one mandatory “named” official to umpire games.

GENERAL INFORMATION: 
January is the best time to be in Phoenix, sunny blue skies are guaranteed and the daytime temperature can be anywhere from 60-80 degrees in late January.  Bring your sunscreen!

After receiving your completed registration form and team fee, an email will be sent confirming your registration.  Follow-up materials will be sent after the field of teams is finalized.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
To avoid forfeiting entry fee, all cancellation notices must be received by January 16, 2010.
